Turbine blades for power generation
OSRO & REM have supplied more than 60 machines for surface finishing turbine blades used in the power generation industry. We have more than 20 years experience in this field of advanced technology having worked closely with the leading OEM´s of the world and their suppliers. The machines supplied by us are suitable for processing very small blades weighing only a few grams to large blades weighing in excess of 30 kgs. (See photo of Small and Large blades below).
In order to provide the customer with the exact finish required we develop specific media mixes consisting of several different types, geometrical shape and sizes. Furthermore we supply these specifically developed media pre-mixed in a ready to use condition. This service ensures consistent production results. As well as supplying the machines and all the necessary consumable materials for surface finishing turbine blades we also supply effluent treatment plants should these be required.
We offer a complete turnkey service. We require the customer to supply only water, air and electrical services as well as a flat level floor. OSRO and our partners will then erect and install the complete installation. Subsequently an OSRO technician will train your personal in the use of the machines and the process.
